Program:
Day 1 Huaraz / Conay / Hualcayan / Calamina.
We will leave very early and head north to the city of Huaraz by private transport to the city of Caraz visiting its typical villages of the Huaylas alley and then we will arrive at the town of Conay (3 h) where the local Guide, the horses, are waiting for us and donkeys for the transfer of food and backpacks, we will start riding through picturesque villages of Huancarhuaz and Hualcayan and climb until we reach our camp in Calamina, height 3,850 m (duration 4/5 hours approx.) (A, C)
Day 2 Calamina / Osoruri.
After breakfast we will begin to ascend to the Cullicocha lagoon, pressing the Santa Cruz Norte mountain, we will ascend to the pass (4,750 m) and we will dive to our Osoruri camp (4,450 m) (duration 5/6 hours approx.) (D, A, C)
Day 3 Osoruri / Jancarurish Alpamayo.
This day we will continue with our ride passing the Vientiane pass (4,750 m) then we will descend to the Alpamayo valley and then we will ascend to the base camp, passing through the beautiful lagoons, landscapes, appreciating some peaks that surround us camp in Jancarurish. 4,250 m (duration 6/7 hours approx.) Day 4 Jancarurish / Rest Day.
We will climb to the viewpoint of the most beautiful mountain in the World the Alpamayo the pyramidal side, return to the camp. (D, A, C)
Day 5 Jancarurish / Cullicocha
After breakfast we will return to the Cullicocha lagoon, camp 4,600 m (D, A, C)
Day 6 Cullicocha / Hualcayan / Thermal Baths / Conay
We will return to the town of Hualcayan and then on our way to Conay we will take a rich bath in the Huancarhuaz thermal baths and spend the night in Santa Cruz Lodge, thanks dinner. (D, A, C)
Day 7 Return to Huaraz or Lima
Transfer to Huaraz or Caraz, return home. (D)
