Rock Climbing

Hatun Mache which in Spanish means “big cave” is located an hour and a half from Huaraz, at 4,200 m in the Cordillera Negra. It has an area of 200 hectares, the rock we find here is granite eroded by water, wind and glaciers, it has many attractions, such as cave paintings, archaeological evidence, it houses a wonderful stone forest with forms of capricious figures such as : toad, turtle, eagle, elephant; in the most extensive rocks (in walls) figures of human faces are observed, it is conducive to develop sport climbing, it has equipped routes that are located in the external part of the forest.
