Program:
Day 1 Huaraz / Cashapampa / Laguna Ichiccocha (3,900 m)
Departure very early with our transport and we will go to the North of the City of Huaraz visiting its typical villages of the Huaylas alley and then we will arrive at the town of Cashapampa (3 hrs approx.) Where the Arrieros and donkeys wait for us for our transfer of Food and equipment, we will begin our hike through a narrow valley at the beginning very close to the White River until we reach our Ichiccocha camp, height 3,900 m (duration 3/4 hours approx.)
Day 2 Ichiccocha / Arhuaycocha Lagoon / Taullipampa (4,250 m)
This day we will continue with our trek, passing through the beautiful Atuncocha and arhuaycocha lagoons, appreciating the southern face of the snowy Alpamayo and other peaks that surround us such as the artezonraju, taulliraju, quitaraju and then we will arrive at our Taullipampa camp height 4,250 m (duration 4 / 5 hours approx.)
Day 3 Taullipampa / Punta Unión Pass (4,750 m) / Cachinapampa (3,600 m)
After breakfast we will continue with our hike and we will begin to climb up to the Punta Union junction (4,750 m) appreciating the peaks of the white mountain range and the Santa Cruz and Huaripampa valleys, then we will descend until we reach our Cachinapampa camp, height 3,600 m (duration 6 / Approximately 7 hours up and down)
Day 4 Cachinapampa / Vaquería Transfer by minivan / Paso (4,765 m) / Cebollapampa
In the morning we will enroll our things and walk through the community of Huaripampa until we reach Vaquería (2 hrs) from this place our muleteers say goodbye to us and return to Cashapampa collecting our tracks; we will travel in a private minivan passing through the portachuelo pass of Llanganuco (4,765 m) where we are a small stop to appreciate an impressive panorama of mountains and valleys chain of the white mountain range, then we will descend to our camp in Cebollapampa. Height 4,000 m (2 hours by minivan)
Day 5 Cebollapampa / Pisco Base Camp
In the morning we will organize with the carriers for the transfer of our equipment and food to the base camp height 4,600 m Elevation: + 600 m (duration 3/4 hrs approx.)
Day 6 Base Camp / Pisco Summit (5,752 m) / Base Camp
We will leave early in the morning we will ascend a light path and cross a dead ice moraine with rocks from the snowy Huandoy we will take advantage of the weather and the best snow conditions in the morning, we will go up the Southwest route to the Pisco summit (5,752 m) after doing Some photographs will descend to the base camp. Elevation: + 1,152 m / – 1,152 m (duration 6 hours approx. To go up) (down to the base camp 4 hours approx.)
Day 7 Base Camp / Huaraz
Return to Cebollapampa where the minivan awaits us for our transfer to Yungay then to Huaraz, on the night we celebrate our success in the mountains.
