Day 1 Huaraz (3,100 m) / Huanucopampa (3,736 m)
Transfer from Huaraz to Huánuco Pampa (6 hours of transportation) In the afternoon visit the Inca ruins of Huánuco Viejo and camp. (A, C)
Day 2 Huanucopampa / Queropalca (3,800 m) / Carhuacocha (4,150 m)
Transfer from Huánuco Viejo to the town of Queropalca (3 hours of transportation) Then, we will continue an easy trek to the Carhuacocha Lagoon (3 hours of walking) (D, A, C)
Day 3 Carhuacocha / Carhuac Pass (4,650 m) / Mitucocha (4,150 m)
We will ascend to cross the first Carhuac pass (4,650 m) and camp at Laguna Mitucocha (5 hours walk) (D, A, C)
Day 4 Mitucocha / Cacanan Punta Pass (4,700 m) / Rondoy (4,350 m)
We will ascend to the Cacanan Punta Pass (4,700 m) and descend to the Rondoy camp (5 hours walk) (D, A, C)
Day 5 Rondoy / Paso Sambunya (4,750 m) / Jahuacocha (4,100 m)
A strong day we cross the highest pass of this Sambunya trek (4,750 m) we will descend close to the Solterococha lagoon and then to the beautiful Jahuacocha lagoon where we will camp (5 hours of walking) (D, A, C)
Day 6 Jahucocha / Pampa Llamac Pass (4,300 m) / Llamac / Huaraz
On the last day of Trek, we will cross the Pampa Llamac pass 4,300 m and descend to the town of Llamac where the muleteers who have accompanied us live throughout the Trek (4 hours of walking) Return to Huaraz (4 hours of transportation) (D, A)
