Trekking Santa Cruz is one of the most visited trekking in the Cordillera Blanca, due to its easy and short access of 4 days, it has a moderate difficulty and reaches a maximum height in the pass of Punta Unión (4,750 m) and Portachuelo de llanganuco (4,765 m) in its route you will find a variety of flora, fauna, cold water lagoons, view of beautiful mountain meadows and old gramineae grasses, you can see the Alpamayo, Artezonraju, Quitaraju and an impressive panoramic view of the Santa Cruz and Huaripampa valley .

Program:
Day 1 Huaraz (3,090 m) / Cashapampa / Llamacorral (3,760 m)
Transfer in our transport to the north of the city of Huaraz through the villages of Carhuaz, Yungay, Caraz, then we will arrive at Cashapampa 2,900 m from this place we will start with our walk to the Llamacorral camp 3,760 m (D, A, C)
Elevation: + 860 m (duration 3/4 hours approx.)
Day 2 Llamacorral / Taullipampa (4,250 m)
We will continue our walk along the wide and flat creek of Santa Cruz, crossing the lagoons of Ichiccocha and hatuncocha, from Queruar we will start a side walk towards the base camp of Alpamayo until we reach the Arhuaycocha lagoon where we will have splendid views of Quitaraju 6,040 m, Alpamayo 5,947 m, Artezonraju 6,025 m and others, then cross to our camp in Taullipampa 4,250 m (D, A, C)
Elevation: + 490 m (duration 4/5 hours approx.)
Day 3 Taullipampa / Punta Unión Pass (4,750 m) / Cachinapampa (3,600 m)
We will start climbing up to the Punta Union pass 4,750 m from this point we will appreciate a large part of the Cordillera Blanca and Negra then we will begin to descend to the Huaripampa gorge until we reach our camp in Cachinapampa 3,600 m (D, A, C)
Elevation: + 500 m / – 1,150 m (duration 6/7 hours approx.)
Day 4 Cachinapampa / Vaqueria / 3,500 m / Portachuelo 4,767 m / Huaraz
We will continue descending to the small town of Huaripampa, and we will go up to the village of Vaquería and then with our transport return to Huaraz, we will ascend to the portachuelo pass of Llanganuco 4,765 m, in this place we will have a very splendid panoramic view towards the snow-capped Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Huandoy, Pisco and Chacraraju, and then return to Huaraz (D, A)
