Inka Trail Trek

 It is one of the most important trekking routes in South America, in the route there are numerous streams and courses of waters of glacial origin. Among the twelve archaeological monuments that can be seen, Qoriwayrachina, Patallaqta, Runkuraqay, Sayaqmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Intipunku, Intipata and Wiñayhuayna stand out.
The most popular route starts at km 82 of the Cusco-Machu Picchu railway (40 km until you reach the citadel of Machu Picchu).

Itinerary

Day 1 Trek Inka Trail; Cusco / Km. 82 / Wayllabamba (3,300 m)

Pick up from the hotel with the Bus that will take us to Chilca 2,680 m (km 82) via Chinchero, we carry out the corresponding controls and join the whole team of professionals that will make our trip a success. Starting our walk on the banks of the Urubamba River until arriving at Llactapata important archaeological group, place where we will have lunch and then continue to our first camp in Wayllabamba 3,300 m after a restorative dinner we will spend the night. Fortifying breakfast to overcome the great challenge of the day. Starting the trek in a slow but fabulous ascent until you reach the first step (Warmiwañusca) that is 4,200 m from this place you can see an impressive view of two geographical panoramas of mountains and snowy mountains and the other no less beautiful than the semi tropical valley, With this wonderful view we will have lunch to continue the descent to Pacaymayu 3,500 m which is our second camp. We begin the walk and ascend to the archaeological zone of Runkuraqay and then at the second step 3,900 m we will find important vestiges of the Inca Culture, we continue our journey to Sayacmarca where we will have lunch to continue walking and observe how the geography is changing aspect, dry and mountainous to semi tropical green, jungle eyebrow. On this route is the archaeological group of Phuyupatamarca, then we will arrive at the last Wiñaywayna camp 2,650 m (D, A, C)

We will get up very early and after breakfast we will begin our journey towards Intipunku, managing to observe the fabulous exit of the Astro Rey, while being able to appreciate a wonderful spectacle, the panoramic view of the Citadel of Machu Picchu, then we will descend and tour this magical place full of energy and culture, in a guided tour of the precincts, squares, sacred fountains, temples, towers, the Agricultural and Urban Sector. We will have some time for the free visit and be able to ascend to the huayna picchu 2,667 m in the afternoon we will go down to hot waters by bus (height 2,050 m) where we will have lunch, and then we will return to ollantaytambo with train then with bus to the city of Cusco.
