Program

Departure from the port of Puno at 9:30 AM. After approximately 30 minutes of navigation, we arrive at the famous Uros Floating Islands, located at 3,820 m / 12,533 ft above sea level on the majestic Lake Titicaca.

The islands are made up of around 25 communities inhabited by Uro-Aymara families who build their homes using totora reeds and woven reed mats. During the guided visit, we will learn about their traditions, handicrafts, and ancestral way of life.

Optionally, visitors may enjoy a ride on the traditional totora reed boats. After the excursion, return to Puno.
