Route Description
The Condoriri Climbing Expedition is one of Bolivia’s most spectacular alpine adventures, located in the beautiful Cordillera Real near La Paz. This expedition offers an unforgettable combination of trekking, glacier travel, and high-altitude mountaineering surrounded by dramatic snow-covered peaks and crystal-clear lagoons. Itinerary
Day 1: La Paz – Tuni – Chiar Khota Base Camp
Early in the morning, departure from La Paz towards the village of Tuni, located in the Cordillera Real. During the drive, enjoy impressive views of the Andean landscape and local communities. Upon arrival, meet the muleteers and begin the hike to Chiar Khota Lagoon, where the base camp is established at the foot of the Condoriri massif. The trek takes approximately 3 to 4 hours through scenic valleys surrounded by glaciers and towering peaks. Overnight at base camp.

Day 2: Summit Condoriri (5,648 m / 18,530 ft)
Very early departure, around midnight or 1:00 a.m., to begin the ascent to the summit of Condoriri. The climb includes glacier travel, snow slopes, and sections requiring crampons and ice axes. After several hours of climbing, reach the summit and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Cordillera Real, Lake Titicaca, and surrounding mountains. After celebrating the achievement, descend carefully back to base camp for rest.

Day 3: Chiar Khota – Tuni – Return to La Paz
After breakfast, break camp and hike back to Tuni through the beautiful high-Andean landscape. Transportation back to La Paz, arriving in the afternoon. End of services.
