Willkacocha Lake
This lagoon is located in the Cordillera Negra, and its dark green waters are recommended for acclimatization. Due to its location, it provides an exceptional viewpoint of the Cordillera Blanca, presenting a diverse range of flora and fauna.

Itinerary
Day 1 Huaraz (3,100 m) / Puente Santa Cruz / Lag. Willkacocha (3,745 m) / Huaraz
Departure (8:30 am) We will begin the pick-up from your hotel with our transportation and travel to the southwest side of Huaraz to the Santa Cruz Bridge. From here, we will begin the ascent, passing through the town of Santa Cruz, observing the farmers’ crops and animals. We will arrive at the Willkacocha Lagoon. From here, we will have beautiful views of the Cordillera Blanca. We will return along the same trail to our transportation and then to Huaraz.
