Huaraz, heading north toward Yungay. After approximately 3 hours, we arrive at Cebollapampa
(3,900 m / 12,795 ft). Here, we meet the muleteers who will transport our group
equipment and food to base camp.
The hike to base camp is gradual and allows for proper acclimatization.

Day 2: Base Camp – Summit: 5,752 m / 18,871 ft - Base Camp
Early morning departure to take

We climb via the Southwest Route, reaching the summit of Nevado Pisco,
where panoramic views of the Cordillera Blanca reward our effort. After photos
and rest, we descend back to base camp.
