Day 1: Puno / Uros / Amantani

Departure from the port of Puno at 8:00 AM. After approximately 30 minutes of navigation, we arrive at the Uros Floating Islands for a guided visit of around 2 hours, where we will learn about the customs, handicrafts, and traditional lifestyle of the community.

Optionally, visitors may enjoy a ride on traditional totora reed boats.

We then continue to Amantani Island, located at 3,800 m / 12,467 ft above sea level. Upon arrival, local families welcome us into their traditional homes for an authentic homestay experience.

After a typical lunch, we hike to the ceremonial center of Pachatata, where we will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Lake Titicaca and a beautiful sunset.

In the evening, we share a traditional dinner and participate in a cultural gathering with music and traditional dances alongside our host families.

Day 2: Taquile / Puno

After breakfast with the local family, we depart at 8:00 AM towards Taquile Island. After approximately 40 minutes of navigation, we arrive at the island and begin an uphill walk while enjoying the landscapes and daily activities of the local inhabitants.

We visit the main square and have free time to appreciate the island’s traditions and handicrafts. After lunch, we descend from the opposite side of the island via its famous 530 stone steps.

Return by boat to Puno followed by transfer to the hotel.
