Churup Lake
This lagoon is located at the foot of the Churup snow-capped mountain, surrounded by ichu and other high Andean plants of a stunning green color. It is recommended for acclimatization for trekking and climbing.

Itinerary
Day 1 Huaraz (3,100 m) / Pitec (3,700 m) / Lag. Churup (4,450 m) / Huaraz
Departure (7:00 am) We will begin the pick-up from your hotel with our transportation and head east to Huaraz, heading to Pitec, where the Huascaran National Park control is located. We will pay S/. 15.00 for nationals and S/. 30 for foreigners for the day visit. From here, we will begin our ascent along a well-marked trail and combine it with a rock climb equipped with ropes before reaching Churup Lagoon. The maximum altitude we will reach is 4,450 m at the same lagoon, where we will take a break to eat and take photos. We will return along the same trail to our transportation and then to Huaraz.
